4. IDENTIFYING YOUR CALLERS
If you subscribe to your network operator's "Caller Line Identification" (CLI) service, you can see your correspondent's number before you take the call. The last 20 calls received (whether answered or unanswered) are logged along with the corresponding number, date and time. If the same correspondent has called more than once, only the most recent call is stored in the log. flashes to indicate that a new call has been received and has not yet been consulted

9. TROUBLESHOOTING . . .
If a problem arises, try this first: remove the batteries from all the handsets in your installation for about 1 minute; disconnect and then reconnect the power supply to the base; reinstall the batteries. There is no dial tone, or you hear a sequence of error beeps during a call (you may be cut off). You are out of range of the base or in an environment prone to interference. See "Adding a New Handset".
Put the handset back on its base to recharge it. Move nearer to the base.

9. Ask your Alcatel reseller to supply you with new batteries.
The base or charger is not powered up. The handset batteries are defective.
If the problem recurs, call our hotline: the number is given on the cover. The store where you purchased your VERSATIS can also advise you and provide after-sales support.

10. [. . . ] Its input is classified as hazardous and its output as SELV (Security Extra Low Voltage). The mains adapter must be installed close to the device and must be easily accessible. To disconnect the device from the primary power source, the mains adapter must be removed from the 230V AC 50 Hz outlet. If the mains adapter fails, it must be replaced by an identical model.
