[. . . ] Mass Modular Automobile Sound System LM60 q A Self-contained, twin driver sound system which was the first mass development to acknowledge the fundamental difference between automobile and domestic listening environments. [. . . ] More simply linking with LXT10 and retaining equaliser can upgrade LM50. LD50 q Use when it is desirable to totally conceal the loudspeaker. LD50 is identical to the LM50 drive unit but without the outer housing. LXT10 q An economical high-frequency transducer with built in high-pass crossover network, specially designed to upgrade the performance of the LM60 and LM50. Because of the smooth and extended frequency response of these two modules, no low-pass filter is required. q The LX10 improves output in the top octave and gives wider high-frequency dispersion. It can be added to LM60 or LM50 without modification. LP10/LP30 q An angled plinth available as an optional extra for both LXT10 and LT30 to extend the mounting options. B&W Loudspeakers Ltd reserves the right to amend details of the specifications without notice in line with technical developments. All trademarks acknowledged. www. bwspeakers. com LT30 q A super sensitive high-frequency transducer, centred on B&W's TZ26 diminishing sound source tweeter. Acclaimed internationally for its wide frequency response, wide dispersion and excellent transient behaviour, this driver is used in all B&W domestic monitor loudspeakers. q Its housing, which is visually identical to the LXT10, conforms to the general MASS design and is the perfect companion to the LM50. [. . . ] Housed in matching cases, both employ sophisticated computer optimised 3rd order Butterworth dividing networks for optimum performance, minimum distortion and a smooth transition between the units they couple. q Features include equalising circuits which linearise the frequency response to the off-axis condition, and fully automatic overload protection circuit (APOC) ensuring virtually total freedom from damage to the delicate drive units. LS20 q An 8in sub-woofer with a 1-in high temperature voice coil, massive magnet damping and protective metal grille front cover. q Where further extension of low-frequency performance is required at high sound levels, LS20 provides the ideal solution when fed by a separate amplifier and electronic crossover, making the MASS range complete in every way. BR1 Bridge Mounting q A unique, stylish method of coupling the varies modules together harmoniously, intended either for surface mounting to an existing rear panel shelf or to provide an array of MASS modules mounted as a free standing assembly. q The mounting takes the form of an unobtrusive aluminium extrusion which can be tailored and finished to match virtually any automobile interior. B&W Loudspeakers Ltd reserves the right to amend details of the specifications without notice in line with technical developments. [. . . ]
