Depending on the size of the publication and how many recipients it is intended for, you have several report bursting methods to choose from: · One database fetch for all recipients When you use this report bursting method, all documents in the publication are refreshed once, and then the documents are personalized and delivered to each recipient. This report bursting method uses the data source logon credentials of the publisher to refresh data. This is the default option for Interactive Analysis document publications. It is also the recommended option if you want to minimize the impact of Publishing on your database. This option is secure only when the source documents are delivered as static documents. For example, a recipient who receives an Interactive Analysis document in its original format can modify the document and view the data associated with other recipients.
