BASIC FUNCTIONS 5. 1 Calls and contacts This application enables you to place calls and manage your contacts. ›› Placing calls There are three ways of entering a phone number to make a call: • Phone book: Select a contact from the list and tap on the name. • Keypad: Enter the number using the keypad and then press Call. • Recent calls: Select a contact from your list of recent incoming and outgoing calls. Deleting Select Delete to remove multiple calls from your call history. Settings Here you can input voice call settings such as call forwarding and call barring. In More settings, you can turn on functions such as Manage fixed dialling numbers or the Minute reminder. ›› ›› 47 Basic functions ›› Phone book Type the first few letters of the contact you're looking for in the search box, and the contacts that match your search will be listed. You can add contacts in various ways: • Adding a contact manually Click on the Add contact button. Enter the contact's phone number and then confirm it by pressing Next. You have now created a contact record for this person and can expand it by adding other details such as a contact photo, their landline number, their email address and their birthday. In Options, you can set this contact as a favourite and access their details directly from the favourites page. • Importing contacts from your SIM card Press the Import SIM contacts button at the end of your contact list.
