Both Strike and Defensive fleets must be composed mainly of Capital Ships, with Fighters serving only as escorts and deep harassment forces. This creates a fighting wedge with significant firepower, while creating a deadly sphere of anti-fighter fire provided by the Assault frigate turrets and the strike craft surround each frigate.
