Before using always visually inspect to see that blades, blade bolts and cutter assembly are not worn or damaged. Do not use the lawnmower if the charging cable is not in good condition. Keep children away from the lawnmower when it is connected to the power supply, e. [. . . ] Be careful during adjustment of the machine to prevent entrapment of the fingers between moving blades and fixed parts of the machine. Stop the lawnmower and remove the safety key before moving the lawnmower across surfaces other than grass and when transporting the lawnmower to and from the area to be mowed. Never operate the lawnmower with damaged guards or without guards in place. Always start the lawnmower carefully with feet well away from the blades. Do not tilt the lawnmower when the motor is running, except when starting and stopping. In this case, do not tilt more than absolutely necessary and lift only the part which is away from the operator. Always ensure that both hands are in the operating position before returning the appliance to the ground. Do not stand in front of the grass discharge chute when you start the motor. Do not put hands near the grass discharge chute whilst the motor is running. Never pick up or carry a lawnmower while the motor is running Carefully fold the handle onto the machine. Make sure the cable is not trapped Your product is uniquely identified by a silver and black product rating label. To ensure you have full product information when obtaining spares or advice from one of our approved service centres or if you need to contact our customer service department you should make a note in the space provided of the information shown in Fig B Insert the bolts from the inside and tighten the nuts from the outside. Fit the right and left hand pegs of the grass collector frame into their respective ears on the front section of the collector. Lower the grass collector until it is supported by the lower handle sections and place the safetly flap over the front of the collector. To empty the grass collector, remove from lawnmower, open flap and tip out grass. Before using for the first time If your lawnmower is not used for more than one month. (If the safety key is not removed, the Battery Charge Indicator light will flash twice repeatedly for approximately 1 minute. WHAT THE LIGHT INDICATOR SHOWS WHEN MOWING (G): Steady green light Flashing green light Steady amber light Flashing Red light = Battery 100 - 60% = Battery = Battery 60 - 35% 35 - 10% WHAT THE LIGHT INDICATOR SHOWS WHEN CHARGING (G): Flashing Red light = Battery 0 - 5% Steady amber light = Battery 5 - 30% On starting the lawnmower, whilst the motor gets to normal speed. For maximum battery life ALWAYS charge the battery immediately after use! Flashing green light = Battery 30 - 60% Steady green light = Battery 60 -100% · There is a usable charge when the light is steady green or flashing green When charging is complete. Switch off at the mains and remove the charger cable from the socket (F). NOTE The 500 Bat can be left connected to the charger permanently, with the charger switched on, without risk of overcharging. [. . . ] If the lawnmower still lacks power and/or is overheating, - remove the safety key.
