Manual abstract: user guide JONSERED 600 RDM2REV 1

Detailed instructions for use are in the User's Guide.

[. . . ] Please read these instructions carefully and make sure you understand them before using this machine. Operator safety Read this manual carefully and make sure you understand all controls and their function. Keep in mind that the operator or user is responsible for accidents or hazards occurring to other people or their property. [. . . ] If transport requires the mower to be lifted, the operator must first make sure that the cutting blade has stopped. Never operate the mower with defective guards or shields, or without safety devices, for example deflectors and/or grass catchers, in place. Start the engine or switch of the motor carefully according to instructions and with feet well away from the blade(s). Do not tilt the mower when starting the engine or switching on the motor, except if the mower has to be tilted for starting. In this case, do not tilt it more than absolutely necessary and lift only the part which is away from the operator. Do not start the engine when standing in front of the discharge chute. Stop the engine and disconnect the spark plug wire: before clearing blockages or unclogging chute; before checking, clearing or working on the mower. After striking a foreign object, inspect the mower for damage and make repairs before restarting and operating the mower. Maintenance - and storage safety Regularly check that all bolts, screws and nuts are tightened. Store tool and fuel in an area where fuel vapors cannot reach sparks or open flames from water heaters, electric motors or switches, furnaces, etc. To reduce the fire hazard, keep the engine, silencer, battery compartment and petrol storage area free of grass, leaves, or excessive grease. Loosen the wire/cable from the handle before carefully folding the handle. These symbols may appear on your machine or in the literature supplied with the product. TO ASSEMBLE & ATTACH GRASS CATCHER Put grass catcher frame into grass bag with stiff part of bag on the bottom. [. . . ] Never cut more than 1/3 of the length of the grass, especially during dry periods. The spark plug must be at the highest point on the mower when it is tilted up. Note: the dipstick must be screwed all the way down in order to indicate correct oil level. [. . . ]
