Manual abstract: user guide JUNO JDK8450W

Detailed instructions for use are in the User's Guide.

[. . . ] We suggest to use Ø 150 mm exhausting pipe. -- No food must be cooked flambé underneath the hood. The use of an unprotected flame is dangerous for the filters and could cause fires. When frying foods, never leave the pan alone because the cooking oil could flare up. [. . . ] -- When the hood is used at the same time of other appliances that run on energy sources other than electricity, provision must be made for an adequate supply of air. Mounting the hood - Fig. Put the template onto the wall (1)and drill two Ø12mm holes (2). Hang the hood on the hooks and adjust the position of the hood using the two screws on the bottom of the hooks (5). On the top of the cooker hood mark two holes (6), Remove the hood and drill two Ø8mm holes on the marked points. Fit two Ø8mm wall dowels (7), Hang again the hood and fix the hood definitively with two screws 5X45 (8) from the inside of thehood. Refit the metal filters Operation The hood has one variable speed motor. For the best performance, we recommend using the low speeds in normal conditions and the high speeds in particular cases of strong odour and vapour concentration. We recommend starting up the hood a few minutes before cooking and keeping it running until all the odours have been eliminated. A - Motor OFF button B - ON button and motor speed selection button 1 - 2 - 3 - 1 - 2 - . C - Speed 1 LED D - Speed 2 LED E - Speed 3 LED F - Intensive speed indicator LED G - Intensive speed ON switch This speed should be used when the concentration of cooking fumes or odours is particularly strong (for example when frying, cooking fish etc. ). The fast speed will run for about 5 minutes and then return to the speed previously set automatically (1, 2 or 3), or switch off if no speed was selected. To turn off the fast speed, before the end of the 5 minutes, press button A or button B. H - OFF-ON lamp button If the hood fails to operate correctly, briefly disconnect it from the mains power supply for almost 5 sec. Then plug it in again and try once more before contacting the Technical Assistance Service. Mounting the chimney g. Fix the chimney support (10) with two screws 5 x 45 mm (11) and two wall dowels (9) on the wall close to the ceiling. For exhausting version: Fit the connection ring on the top of the hood with two screws Ø 3, 5 x 6, 5 mm (12S) then fit an axhausting pipe long enough to reach the outside (13S). For recycling version: first insert the fixing nooses of the deflector (K) on the rear slot (12K) then fix definitively the deflector (K) on the top of the hood with two screws Ø 3, 5 x 6, 5 mm on the front holes (12K). Fit the chimney (15) and fix it on the chimney support with two screws 3, 0 x 9 mm (16). [. . . ] Mounting and replacing the carbon filter: a) Disconnect the hood from the electricity. d) If the charcoal filters have already been installed (covering the grates protecting the rotor on the motor) and must be replaced, turn the central handle in the counter-clockwise direction until the filters are unlocked. e) Refit the exhaust grate or the grease filter.
