Before use

To prevent a short circuit, never put or leave any metallic objects (such as coins or metal tools) inside the unit.
Notes
Do not use this unit before canceling Demonstration mode!
This unit is initially set on the Demonstration mode. When using this unit for the first time, cancel the Demonstration mode. Refer to <Demonstration mode Setting> (page 34).
How to reset your unit
If this unit fails to operate properly, press the Reset button. The unit returns to factory settings when the Reset button is pressed. Date Adjustment
You can adjust the date.
Dual clock city setting
You can select cities for two clocks.
1 Enter Menu List mode
Press the [MENU] button. Select “Settings” > “Clock & Date” > “Date Adjust”. 1. Turn the [VOL] knob and press it when the desired item is displayed. 2. Turn the [VOL] knob to select a setting value, and then press the [VOL] knob. Press the [MENU] button for at least 1 second, and then press it again briefly.

Press the [MENU] button. Select “Settings” > “Clock & Date” > “City Select”.

• To display the clocks of two cities, select dual clock mode for “Graphic Select” described in <Customization of Clock Display Mode> (page 29). • For adjustment of Home time, refer to <Clock Adjustment> (page 31). When summer time systems are different between Home and Sub cities, adjustment can be done by referring to “Sub Clock Adjust” of <Clock & Date display type setting> (page 31).
Remarks
• City Select Set a time zone for your area as “Home”. When you set a time zone for different area to the “Sub”, clocks for two time zones can be displayed on the clock display. For time zone list, see <City list> (page 58).

Initial Settings
You can select following Initial Setting items.

Pressing the [SRC] button repeatedly switches source. ✍✍SRC Select mode 2: Press the [SRC] button and then turn the [VOL] knob. Display “Initial Settings” “SRC Select”

( : Factory setting) * This setting cannot be made when the speaker system is connected in the 3-way mode.

ERROR 99/ Mecha Error: The unit is malfunctioning for some reason. If the “ERROR 99/ Mecha Error” code does not disappear, consult your nearest service center.
