The Quickview setting is maintained until another setting is selected. The LCD displays the Preferences screen. 3 Press a / button until the Date/Time icon is highlighted on the second Preferences screen. To adjust the LCD brightness: 4 Preferences 1 Set the Mode dial to Preferences. 2 Turn the camera on. The LCD displays the Preferences screen. 3 Press a / button until the LCD Brightness icon is highlighted on the second Preferences screen. The LCD displays the main LCD Brightness screen. 4 Press the DO-IT button. 5 Press a / button to adjust the brightness of the LCD screen to the appropriate level. The brightness of the LCD screen changes as the setting is adjusted. 6 Press the DO-IT button. The main Preferences screen reappears. To reset: the LCD Brightness setting is maintained until another setting is selected. When a memory card is formatted it erases everything, including any templates on the card, and sets up new directories and pointers on the memory card. 2 Turn on the camera. The LCD displays the Preferences screen. 3 Press a / button until the Format Memory Card icon is highlighted on the third Preferences screen. The LCD displays the main Format Memory Card screen. 4 Press the DO-IT button. 5 Press a / button until CONTINUE FORMAT is highlighted. The card is formatted and the main Preferences screen reappears. 6 Press the DO-IT button. To cancel format: press a / button until CANCEL FORMAT is highlighted and then press the DO-IT button. To set the video out format: 4 Preferences 1 Set the Mode dial to Preferences. 2 Turn on the camera. The LCD displays the Preferences screen. 3 Press a / button until the Video Out icon is highlighted on the third Preferences screen. The LCD displays the main Video Out screen. The current setting is checked (ü). 4 Press the DO-IT button. 5 Press a button until the appropriate option is highlighted. / 6 Press the DO-IT button. The main Preferences screen reappears. To reset: the Video Out setting is maintained until another setting is selected. When a specific language is selected, the LCD screens on the back of the camera will change to reflect the language selected. 2 Turn the camera on. The LCD displays the Preferences screen. 3 Press a / button until the Language icon is highlighted on the third Preference screen. The LCD displays the main Language screen. The current setting is checked (ü). 4 Press the DO-IT button. 5 Press a / button until the appropriate language is highlighted. The main Preferences screen reappears. 6 Press the DO-IT button.
