You will find the buttons for the additional functions under the cover of the remote control. A C Cooling operation (A) / Auto operation D B E or auto changeover (C) / Dehumidifying operation (D) / Heating operation (B) / Air circulation (E) Jet cooling/heating button*: Warms up or cools down the indoor temperature within a short period of time. - If you turn off the power, the fan operates for 30 minutes and cleans the inside of the indoor unit. NOTE • In Air Circulation, Auto, or Auto Changeover mode, this function cannot be used. Some buttons cannot be used while the auto cleaning function is in operation. 14 ADVANCED FUNCTIONS ENGLISH Auto operation (Artificial intelligence) Cooling-only models In this mode, the fan speed and the temperature adjust automatically, based on the room temperature. 3 Press E or F to select the desired operation code if the temperature is higher or lower than the desired temperature. Code 2 1 0 Description Cool Cool slightly Maintain room temperature Heat slightly Heat 3 Press E or F to set the desired temperature. silent mode It is to prevent potential claims by neighbors , reducing noise from outdoor units. The outdoor unit sound pressure in cooling and heating mode is decreased by 3dB compared to the rated sound pressure 1 Press | to turn the power on. NOTE • In this mode, you cannot adjust the fan speed, but you can set the air deflector to rotate automatically. Silent Mode Function available under the below temperature set - Cooling-possible temperature range: Indoor 18°C (64°F) ~ 30°C (86°F), Outdoor 18°C (64°F) ~ 43°C (109°F) - Heating-possible temperature range: Indoor 16°C (60°F) ~ 30°C (86°F), Outdoor 6°C (43°F) ~ 24°C (75°F) Auto Changeover operation This mode changes the operation mode automatically to maintain the set temperature at ±2°C. NOTE • Setting available only under operation-ON Silent Mode and E/Control are not available at the same time. [. . . ] Cleaning the 3M filter 1 Turn off the power and unplug the power cord. 2 Open the front cover and remove the air filter (See “Cleaning air filter”). 3 Hold the knob of the air filter, lift it up slightly and remove it from the unit. 4 Use a vacuum cleaner to remove dirt, Do not wash the Micro Dust Filter powered by 3M Tech with water, because the filter can be damaged.
