[. . . ] This user manual will help you understand all the functions for an optimal use of this instrument's entire technical features. These data may be altered in the Set-Mode and Option-Mode according to your personal needs. When not in use, the DATA BACK D-35 is switched over to low-current barometer mode after approx. Following the replacement of batteries, the instrument shall be in each case initialised with the basic configuration. [. . . ] Short pressure on the Sub-key initiates the change setting from hours to minutes, then to seconds. Menu Clock: Sub-Set-Mode displays Prolonged pressure on the Sub-key gives acces to the SubSet Mode Time zone 5 . For this purpose the difference between the present time zone and the time zone of the scheduled location is selected. In case this time zone is east from the position of the user, a plus correction has to be effected, if it is west then a minus correction has to be effected.
