[. . . ] [. . . ] 1) Place the 1/4"-20 adapter assembly on the equatorial head as shown in the diagram, aligning the mounting holes in the flat base plate and top block over the holes in the equatorial head. 2) Insert the two hex-head bolts up through the holes in the equatorial head, through the flat base plate, and into the top block. The rosette knob should now be held captive within the adapter assembly, unable to fall out. You are now ready to attach a telescope or camera to the adapter
