Pause your TV and answer that urgent phone call or simply take a break during a sports match, while the TV stores the broadcast on the USB Hard Drive. You can start watching again later. 1. 2 EasyLink With EasyLink you can operate a connected device, like a Bluray Disc player, with the remote control of the TV. EasyLink uses HDMI CEC to communicate with the connected devices. 3 2 Setting up 2. 1 Read safety Read the safety instructions first before you use the TV. In Help, go to Safety and care > Safety. Timers and clock 9. 1 Sleep timer With the sleep timer, you can set the TV to switch to standby automatically after a preset time. With the slider bar you can set the time to up to 180 minutes in increments of 5 minutes. If set to 0 minutes, the sleep timer is switched off. You can always switch off your TV earlier or reset the time during the countdown. Press , repeatedly if necessary, to close the menu. 9. 2 Clock To know what time it is, press  TV GUIDE to find the time in the TV guide. In some countries, digital broadcasts do not send UTC Coordinated Universal Time information. The daylight saving change might be ignored and the TV might show an incorrect time. Select TV settings > General settings > Clock > Auto clock mode and select Country dependent. Select Daylight saving and select the appropriate setting. 9. 3 Auto switch off If you do not press a key on the remote control during a 4 hour period, or if the TV receives no input signal nor remote control commands for 10 minutes, the TV switches off automatically to save energy. If you use the TV as a monitor or use a digital receiver to watch TV (a Set-top box - STB) and you do not use the remote control of the TV, you should deactivate the automatic switch off. Select TV settings > General settings > Auto switch off and set the slider bar to 0 (Off). 25 10 View the pictures repeatedly or once only. - Shuffle off, Shuffle on View the pictures in sequential order, or at random. - Show info Display the picture name, date, size and next picture in the slide show. Your photos, videos and music 10. 1 From a USB connection What you need You can view your photos or play your music and videos from a connected USB flash drive or USB Hard Drive. From a USB device With the TV switched on, plug in a USB flash drive or USB Hard Drive to one of the USB connections. If the list does not appear automatically, press  SOURCES, select Browse USB and press OK. Play music In the USB browser, select Music and press OK. To close Browse USB, press  and select another activity. Menu bar With a USB device connected, the TV sorts the files by type. Navigate to the menu bar and select the type of file you are looking for. If you browse files from a computer, you can only browse the files and folders as they are organized on the computer. The menu bar Navigate to the menu bar and select the type of file you want to watch or play. Alternatively, you can open the Folders view and browse your folders to look for a file. Play videos In the USB browser, select Movie and press OK. Options View photos In the USB browser, select Picture and press OK.
