Disconnecting the Camera from Your Computer

CardReader
Thisisadeviceconnectedtoacomputertoread thecontentsofcards. Inadditiontothememory cardadapter-type, therearecardreadersinto whichyoucandirectlyloadanSDmemorycard.

Chapter 3 How to Use EC1
EC1isaneditdetectionsoftwareprogramthatallowsyoutocheck andviewwhetherstillimagestakenusingtheG700havebeen processedoredited.
InordertocarryouteditdetectionusingEC1, youmustset[Edit Detection]to[On]inthecamera'sshootingsettingmenubefore shootinganddownloadtheimagestoyourcomputer.
Using the Edit Detection Function
YoucanonlycarryouteditdetectionusingEC1 aftersetting[EditDetection]to[On]onyour camera, shootingstillimages, anddownloading theimagestoyourcomputer.
· Neitheroftheaboveiconsisdisplayed withimagestakenwhen[EditDetection] wassetto[Off ]orimagesforwhichedit detectionisnotpossible. · Bydouble-clickinganimageinthe ThumbnailView, youcanopenthe imageusingthelinkedviewersoftware.

Set [Edit Detection] to [On] in the camera's shooting setting menu, and shoot still images.

Download the still images shot using your camera to your computer. Select [Programs] (or [All Programs]) > [EC1] > [EC1] from the Windows [Start] menu. From the EC1 Folder View, select the folder for the downloaded images.
TheJPEGimagesintheselectedfolder willbeloadedandtheimageswillbe displayedinThumbnailViewafterloading iscomplete.
· Editdetectionisavailableonlywith photographstakenusingcamerasequipped withaneditdetectionfunction. · Imagesforwhichthe[Resize], [Contrast Correction], or[SkewCorrection]functions havebeenusedduringplaybackmodewillbe labeledasimagesthathavebeenprocessedor edited. · Whendownloadingimagestoyourcomputer, pleaseusethemethodfordownloading showninChapter1. ThesuppliedEX1softwarecanbeusedto: · Renamephotographsororganize photographsintofoldersusingmemo data, allowingyoutogetanideaofmemo contentsfromtheimagefilenames · ExportmemosinCSV, XML, orTXTformat EX1isavailableinclientandserverversions.
